Well folks, our BMX Season is
officially over for 2009. A gigantic thank you to all of our faithful
volunteers. It has been quite a first year experience for Ben and I as
Track Directors. We hope that you enjoyed your time at
Supercross in 2009 and that you will come out in 2010 as well. Talk to your
friends and family about a membership and see if you can get them to join you in
the fun.
Starting in January 2010, we
will be switching back to practice on Tuesdays only and racing on
Saturday.
*UPCOMING BANQUET*
We've talked to the management
about renting the Banquet Hall for our BMX Banquet, the 16th of January.
Exact time and details will be coming up soon. We're not sure at this time
whether we'll race first and then go straight there, or what........
GENERAL INFO: IF you have
never tried BMX before, you are welcome to come out and try it for $1.00.
Your age doesn't really matter, as long as you make it without training
wheels! IF you decide that you like it and you want to join, a membership
is $45.00 for the year. That entitles you to ride at any of the 250 ABA
track in the US. There is a $5.00 practice fee and a $10.00 race fee that
applies each time you come out. If you race, you would be classed with
other riders that are of your age and skill. If you win (1st, 2nd or 3rd
place), you receive either a trophy, medal, or stamps (which have a cash value
that you can use to purchase gear, bikes and such at various vendors). We
are a family friendly track and it's an opportunity to come out, get some
exercise, fresh air, bond with your family and make great friendships. If
you have any questions, you can call Ben or Deb at the above
numbers.
NOTE:
On days that we are racing, you are
welcome to practice instead of race. A $5.00 practice fee will apply
verses a $10.00 race fee.
People
don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
Whose
life are YOU going to touch this week because of the greatness inside of
you? Dare to step out and make a difference in the world. People are
choosing to die every day because they have no hope. One moment of your
time could make someone decide to do a 180. Think about it??
Hey
riders, are you inviting your friends and family to come out and either try out
BMX or watch you race? If not, why not??? It's a free spectator
sport! Besides, they might decide to join and race YOU. If they do,
YOU get a FREE race! How about it?
The people who deserve love
the least, need it the most. Be the one to give it.
Would you like to check out
a church service that will make you come out feeling uplifted, special, loved,
accepted and wanting to come back? We have contemporary praise and worship
music, powerful but simplistic teaching on God's word and great fellowship. Then come and check out Restoration
Church of Spartanburg. We are a dynamic church that accepts people where
they are and allows God to change them from the inside out. Dress up,
dress down, just come dressed (ha) and expect God to touch your heart-because He

Service times are 6:30PM on Wednesday and 10AM on Sunday morning. I PROMISE, after going there for 14 years, we

interested in selling his son's Redline size S/M helmet for $90.00.
